First demonstration of the encrypted digital transmission of feature films to first run theaters with 30’ picture and Dolby Stereo sound over fiber optic cable. (August 1995)

 

First demonstration of the encrypted digital transmission of feature films to first run theaters with 30’ picture and 12 channels digital sound over C Band Satellite. (December 1996)


Designed and implemented a Video Online System to preview feature films without 35mm projection or Temp mixing. First recruited screening by Tri-Star without 35mm film. (“Bloodline” AKA "Hush") (March 1997)


First Electronic Cinema Preview in HDTV presented in Dolby E, 5.1 audio channels encoded in two data channels. (“All The Pretty Horses”) (December 2000)


First Electronic Cinema Preview in HDTV 24P presented on TI Prototype Cinema Projector. Source was a Qubit Data Recorder and screen size was 47’ wide. (Session 9) (January 2001)
